Kamome is a confident and outspoken transfer student from Nipponbashi, Osaka. She quickly clashes with the other girls by exposing their flaws and secrets, thanks to her insider knowledge (as her grandfather is Sengakuji Shimafukurō, the perverse old man the heroines often encounter). Kamome came to Akihabara with the specific goal of joining the fight and potentially making a profit along the way. When confronted by Cerberus, she deliberately summons Amphitrite and adapts quickly to the challenges of being an Anima Mundi.

Kamome’s defining trait is her love of money. Everything she does revolves around earning it, even charging her classmates for answering their questions when she first arrives. She uses her Pata Pi Billiken as a digital money box and abacus, to keep track of her finances. Her obsession with money stems from the poverty she and her mother experienced after her biological father died of an illness, leaving them with his significant debts. Kamome’s ultimate goal is to make enough money to buy back her childhood home.

Although Kamome gives the impression of having a large bust, she actually pads her bra or uses her grandfather’s inventions to enhance her chest size. This is a sensitive subject for her, as she considers herself to otherwise have a “dynamite body.” Kamome is a quarter Italian through her grandmother.

Kamome is named for Sengakuji Station in Minato, Tokyo, and the seagull.
