Tsugumi is a tough, cool girl who comes from a family known for their physical strength and prowess (her father runs a martial arts dojo while her mother is a professional wrestler). Her pride and joy is her Pata Pi Tetsuro, a companion who shares her incredible strength and endurance. Tsugumi’s fear in the face of being attacked by Cerberus unlocks her ability to summon the Diva Athena, drawing her into the conflict for Akihabara.

Although she possesses exceptional fighting abilities and athleticism, Tsugumi is secretly an idol otaku and dreams of becoming a performer like her favourite artist, Daikanyama Hatoko. She works hard to keep her otaku side a secret, but it occasionally slips out, especially when the promise of Hatopyon’s presence (or even just merchandise) is involved. Tsugumi often finds herself at odds with Suzume as they compete for Hibari’s attention in their close-knit friend group.
